Neon light

Monday is finally here...this means my ultimate schedule just kicked in. School started today with a class on Investment Analysis. For some reason, I feel like this semester is going to be a bit less stressful compared to the previous. Hold up!... hope I am not jumping to conclusions on day one...LOL

My weekend was very calm besides working 6 hours on Saturday. I stayed indoors catching up on Real Housewives of New Jersey and some Lifetime movies. I also got to watch Tia and Tamara's show for the first time. I have been a fan since the days of "Sister, Sister".

TREND: Suit Up

Yes, ladies! It is okay to suit up. Embrace your masculine touch by dressing up in a suit. Suits are not meant only for job interviews or board meetings, they can be shortened or dressed in a sexy but classy way.

The best part of this redefined suit version is that is can be worn in so many ways from casual to sexy and classy. For a casual look, simply throw on pair of blazer, a white v-neck tee and a relaxed trouser or shorts paired with heels or even a sneaker/converse.

On the other hand, you can added a touch of color. Suits are not just meant for dark shades of color like black or gray, but can also be bright colors like yellow and orange. Remember to find a color that suits your skin tone.

Brighten my day

 This has been a fun-filled weekend. I went to two cookouts on Saturday. It was nice hanging out with my friends and co-workers outside our busy schedules. Then on Sunday, I went to a friend's bridal shower, which was beyond lovely--the whole room was filled with love.

I have talked about how much I love decorating; so whenever I am around a decorative piece, I love to capture it.

I started the day wearing my Jessica Simpson Dany platform, but later on, I switched to my Jeffrey Campbell flats

Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving break. I had a relaxing & fun weekend; but I only wish it was longer. I have my Christmas tree up already and patiently waiting on Santa to deliver my gifts--hint: New Camera!
