I wore this outfit for a dinner with my friend. After a couple of drinks and Cheesecake Factory's oversize Chipotle chicken pasta, we were so ready to relax and catch up on long overdue girls' talk. 

With this hot and humid weather, I love to wear shorts and sheer blouses--easy & breezy!

What's for Dinner!

The heat really got the best part of me this weekend. Even though the temperature was between 104 & 110 degrees, it felt worse than that. Besides some errands on Saturday, I tried to stay cool with my smoothies and bottles of cold water. On Sunday evening, I went for a friend's event who had a baby five days earlier. The baby is so cute. I keep getting the question from friends when I plan on  having mine. For now, I will gladly babysit until then :)

Anyway, that was my weekend in few sentences. What did you do over the weekend? Did you experience the heat wave?

PS: My prayers go out to all those affected in the Norway incident and the family & friends of Amy Winehouse (RIP).

Orange Crush

It is another week! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Phew!!! The week goes by so fast ; I can't believe that school starts in about two months. I have a love/hate relationship with graduate school mainly because of my crazy schedule. 

Anyway, enough of my school talk, back to my weekend. :) Over the weekend, I went hiking and dinning at one of my favorite Italian restaurants "Aldos".  I had Timballo -- Fresh Pasta layered with Mushrooms, Besciamella and Bolognese Sauce. I am even hungry thinking about it. :)

A Riot Of Color

Thank God it is Friday. I am looking forward to more than 4 hours of sleep.  

This month is just going by so fast--it's unbelievable.  Today is exactly a month from my birthday--Yay!

Bright lights and colors

I had a wonderful weekend. I went bowling with my friends and ended cracking a nail. When it comes to bowling, I really suck. I had zero strikes in more the five rolls, but redeemed myself because I ended up not being the last.  :)
