DKNY Spring 2009

With the celebration of her 20th anniversary collection, Donna Karan delivered with style at Bryant Park instead of the usual the Stephan Weiss Studio. Nearly every piece was covered from boyfriend jackets to anoraks in all sorts as well as jumpsuits and miniskirts. Overall the collection reminded me of a rainbow ice cream, very delicious.

Miss Richie was spotted last month on her way to her usual Traffic School class. Make sure to check out Richie as she stars as a guest actress on an episode of the NBC sitcom Chuck, where we get to see her in a fight scene with Yvonne Strahovski.

For those of you who oohhed and ahhed when spotting some killer Balenciaga booties on the likes of Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan, the oohing and aahing stops here. Topshop (about time) have done an "inspired" sandal on the shoes from Balenciaga's Spring 2008 collection. I'm suprised they made a sandal instead of a boot. Perhaps it's more wearable? If you're interested, they are priced at 35 pounds ($69.0690 USD) which seems pretty appealing as the orignal Balenciga ankle boot is is valued at $1500. Will you be buying a pair of Topshop's new sandals?

The charity event was held on Sunday to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Richie looked sunny in a floral printed yellow mini dress and opted for the popular summer hair trend, braids. The starlet teamed her dress with a pair of suede Christian Louboutin heels and Vintage Christian Dior Butterfly Sunglasses.

Celebrities enjoyed a day of fun and charity at the "A Time for Heroes" Celebrity Carnival. The charity event was held on Sunday to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. A look that seems to be sticking is the florals, spotted on Nicole Richie and Whitney Port. Lauren Conrad opted for a beautiful white summer dress and Mischa Barton donned a cream lace Giambattista Valli dress and accessorised with a sequin Chanel bag, which i am absolutely in love with!
