Singing: It's Friday, Friday -- Gonna get down on Friday! LOL! I love Fridays. For me, today signifies more time for me plus more sleep.

My friend Bisi and I were a bit jobless so we decided to go window shopping at Pier 1 Imports. We both love interior decorating so much that we sometimes go to model homes around my house and observe the way they decorate the interiors. Personally, I am obsessed with art decors, paintings and Moroccan themed items.

I had no idea Pier 1 Imports sell masks. After trying on a few, I felt like buying them for a mask/costume party that I will love to have.  I admired the masks and afterwards, we grabbed some smoothies at Panera bread.

Like I Promised

This is the outfit post I promised before I became sick last weekend. This was what I wore to hang out with my girlfriends to a friend's birthday/fun night. Remember the night I ate my all time favorite pasta, this was the night.

Thanks again for all the well wishes. I still have the annoying cough, but it's quite tolerable now and I feel a lot better. I haven't done much this week or worn anything nice, but sweats and work scrubs. So, I am looking forward to this weekend because I get to have some fun at a surprise birthday party.



Ultimately, I am looking forward to going outside because I feel like I haven't seen sunlight in so long. I am crossing my fingers and hoping for a warmer weekend and less rain.

Yay, It's Friday

Happy Friday lovelies, I have been in a boring state throughout the week. My week has been filled with work + flu. Am so happy that am free from this moment till Monday. I am in need of a rest + good food. This weekend, I have a friend's baby shower. This means that I will be taking a trip to "Toys R Us"--I will probably end up picking something for myself--maybe a board game. I am also looking forward to the host's spicy gizzard--that gizzard is the ssshh!
Anyways, I hope everyone had a better week than I did; but if not, I wish you all a wonderful, fun weekend. Now am off to my bed--catch you later!

Let it Snow

We haven't had much snow except for the tease of snow flurries. I always like it when it snows and I am am home with hot chocolate watching SATC. For now, we are just getting the windy cold weather and lots of rain and a little bit of snow flurries. Hoping for a white Christmas this year :-P
