In my world

It is not fun at all having a root canal done. Since Friday that I had a root canal done, I have been in so much pain. The sad part is that I can barely eat what I want to eat. My meals are mainly liquid base or fufu, or golden morn :(

Again, I went for a friend's bridal shower on Saturday. They had so much food that I was salivating just watching all these foods that I could not eat.
Even though that I am feeling much better today, I am still not able to eat any food that requires chewing :(
Gosh! I love and miss food!


Besides that, marriage life is great. I have a wonderful husband and am grateful to God for that... :)

Made for relaxation

Now that am back to a busy schedule of work and school, I try to fit in a day for relaxing. Most of my relaxing days are filled with cut-off shorts, sheer tops and short floral dresses. With the way the weather is today, I could do with less bulky clothes.


For some reason, am really looking forward to fall. I should do a post on fall must-have items. Right now, I am so into laces, leopards, beige/nude/caramel colors, military/workshop boots...

I missed my "zumba" dance class today because I had to go to the dentist because I broke about 1/4 of my molar tooth the second time after it was refilled 3-4minth ago. It hurts like scrap especially when I have my sister-in-law famous Kung-Pao chicken. I think I might have to get a root canal or uproot the tooth :(

Anyway, am off to study and then sleep...zzzzzzzzzzz

So many things, so little time

It seems like there is so little time in the day to do everything that i want to do...hmmm! and school just started for me this week--not feeling it! My mind is thinking Miami and Vegas. My friend and I were strategizing which trip to go to first--will see how that goes...



Anyway, I took a "zumba" dance class yesterday with my friend--gosh! We both had zero rhythm. Half of the time, I was making up my on dance instead of following the teacher's steps; but I had fun regardless.


Ok! Enough of my ramblings... Is there anything you guys will like to see more of? Video blog? More outfit post?

I don't know whether I should be counting down to my BIG day which is about 2 months away. I am beginning to get just a little bit nervous--I get this butterfly feelings in my stomach. I know everything to going to go well; it is just that bride-to-be feeling, I guess! I promise, I wouldn't be a bridezilla ;)

I feel like am slacking on my post. I have quite a busy busy schedule--overwhelmed with school, work, wedding plans! I can't wait for school to be over in 2wks seriously!
On the other hand, My weekend was filled with school work. I have papers due on wednesday--ugh! TIRED :(
I need a vacation somebody--dreaming of beach, bikins, cold drinks, long sleeps...zzzzzzzzzz...

Up with the thigh

Hello Followers/readers,

Back to my outfit post. I dugged up my long lost thigh high boots. I have had these boots since 2004/05--but neglected it for awhile :(
So, I paired my thigh high boot with nude harem. This nude harem screams spring to me, which I am so longing for...
I can't believe school begins on Monday--Gosh!, back to my crazy schedule. This time, I am taking even more classes than before--*deep breath*

Happy Sunday every! It is SERIOUSLY cold outside--like freezing cold with crazy winds. In fact, the wind pushed me a bit today, while walk to my car from church--scary & funny! Currently home, watching lifetime movies, covered in HUGE blanket and thick socks LOL!

The weather is gradually switching to fall. Its been raining a lot also--reminding me of London! I have been consumed with school and work. I am really trying to catch up with spring 2010 shows. I am currently looking forward to MTV award or rather get a glimpse at the red carpet styles.

The new braids

It's been two years since I braided my hair. I love to briad my hair, but I just can't seat down for too long to get it done. Again, it could get quite itchy. So far, am loving it.
I am currently baking banana nut muffin before it class time.

Back from Canada. I haven't yet recovered from the trip and am missing everyone :(
I am back to the grind of work--busy, busy, busy. I am really looking forward to this weekend because I have been so busy this week that I lack the normal hours of sleep.

From Buffalo to Niagara...I spent all day at Niagara falls and at the casino. Despite the rain, Niagara falls looks so great both in day and at night.



Ok, I am kinda feeling so tired, but can't sleepy. I believe I ate a heavy dinner at that casino! :/ Oh well, the food was great. In these situations, some 'Kenny G' will be my sleeping pill tonight. ;)

As promised

Sorry guys, I have been so busy. Anyhoo, how is the weekend going for you guys??? This is the outfit I wore to a wedding party last Sunday. It was a very beautiful & youthful wedding. My only problem about a lot of Nigerian weddings is that people don't sick to rules. If they say, "NO KIDS", why bring your kids along and if they say, "INVITATION ONLY", why show up with all your friends and friend's friends---Gosh!, people respect rules ;)
On the others hand, the wedding was nice; my friend and I snapped away as we waited for the reception to start. I also took some notes for mine. ;)
Ok, I going to go do my nails now because I have another wedding in 5hours. I might stick to tradition clothes this time. Hopefully I don't change my mind. :D
