Back from holidays...

Dear readers,

I'm back after 2,5 weeks off.

At first, me and my little family spent 1 week in a lovely village in Tuscany called Caldana. We had lots of great food, great wine and fun on the beach. Moreover, we visited places like Massa Marittima, Grossetto, Talamone and Magliano in Toscana

Choose Bags to Be More Handsome

In today's international city, more and more things need to be taken to work every day. I have a lot of friends, they especially like to bring a lot of things every day, such as cellphone, laptop, iPad, documents, personal items (such as the gym and sports requisites) seems like they want to go abroad. I think some people would like to have more security, the more tools to be taken with, the better. At least you wouldn’t be in the dilemma that you forget something to take with.

Many of my friends choose the backpack. Every time I see them, the question arises: either you wear a Hugo Boss or Zegna suit, no matter how you take a heavy backpack, take on the left shoulder, or simply hold his bags with two hands. No matter people look at you in which point of view, it is very difficult can say that you are a "stylish" man.

I think the problem lies in that backpack. Backpack seems against from elegant Tailored suits. Especially those mountaineering backpacks, if you carry it to see your customer at the meeting, it seems strange. So my suggestion is that unless there is a designer has a suit bag, or do not touch the backpack when you wear an office suit.

Fortunately, there are many brands also launched the "fashion" backpack. These bags are of simple shapes, suitable colors, lively but low-profile. There are still many good choices. For example, Earth Tone's Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, the colors of the bag can match a lot of men’s cold color coat. And even if you put on casual denim, it also matches the bag.

But I’m afraid that it is ugly to stuff your bag full of things. You’d better learn to how to clear up your bag, carry less things which looks more handsome.

Orange Crush

It is another week! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Phew!!! The week goes by so fast ; I can't believe that school starts in about two months. I have a love/hate relationship with graduate school mainly because of my crazy schedule. 

Anyway, enough of my school talk, back to my weekend. :) Over the weekend, I went hiking and dinning at one of my favorite Italian restaurants "Aldos".  I had Timballo -- Fresh Pasta layered with Mushrooms, Besciamella and Bolognese Sauce. I am even hungry thinking about it. :)

I have had this necklace for a while and I can't remember where I got it from; I am thinking probably Macy's. There are somethings in my closet that I totally forget they exist ; like this necklace.

I was such a pleasure to meet Ella Catliff 'ake' Ella-LaPetiteAnglaise.com on her way to an Armani event further up Bond Street last Thursday...

I love Peter Pan collars as does Ella and she let me smooch it out of her jacket to make sure it showed in the pic...

I like working with colour and as I processed Ella's photo I saw a simalirity in the fresh colours catching my eye on the street and the colours I love in my design references from 2004...
