Strolling through the woods

I have had these pants for almost 3+ years and I just rediscovered it somewhere in my closet. I love wide leg pants and bell bottoms.

I need to find or make a neon pink & green bell bottoms. Random styling thought: I feel like wearing an apple green or mustard yellow bell bottoms/wide leg pants paired with crop top made out of "Ankara" (African fabric)...hmmmm!

Hope everyone's weekend started off great.
I am in Toronto at the moment. I got here this evening to spend Easter with the family and also for Maya's (hubby's niece) first birthday.
I am not feeling too good, so I am off bed to get some rest. Hopefully, I will feel a lot better to be able to  enjoy the brief visit here.

Labor Weekend!

Currently relaxing after a long day out. I am hoping to catch up on other blogs that I have missed and returning friends phone calls by tomorrow before my week begins. On the otherhand, I just bought this ankara material for a friend's wedding in October, but I have no tailor yet and I am bit confused as to what I want to sew with the material. Hopefully before this week runs down, I will decide whether to sew a dress or playsuit/jumpsuit with the material.
I am off to catch a movie with the fiancé with my strawberry smoothie with whipcream on hand...yummy :D

Dream with me: I Smell Spring

Gosh!! how I want to close and open my eyes and let it be spring. I am getting tired of the cold, especially when your too tiny like me, you could feel every bit of the cold. Don't get me wrong, I love the layering that comes with it; but I am so ready for my dresses. Lately I have been in the mood of maxi dresses. On occassion, I will just walk into my closet and just admire my maxi dresses and wonder how soon will I get to wear them. Now am jealous of those in warm states and countries. This is the part where I miss Nigeria--could we trade places? Anyone???
