Polka Dots

The weekend is almost here again, which is an exciting news for me. I don't have much plans for the weekend except completing my paper that is due the coming week. Besides that, I might go to the movies with my hubby. I have been so busy that I don't even know what movies are out or the last movie that I saw. Thinking about it..., I think the last movie I saw was "Columbiana".

Have you guys seen any movies recently? Any recommendation?

It has been raining a lot here. I keep procrastinating getting rain boots. Couple weeks ago, I saw some really cute 'Hunters' metallic rain boots, but they didn't have my size anymore. If I don't find the metallic ones anymore, I will probably go with a black patent one. :)

The City...

QUICK BREAKFAST:


I was in New York the other day for fun and went shopping with my friend and blogger Adaku of ThirdWorldProfashional. It was nice catching up, having "girl talks", and walking around Manhattan. The funny part of the day was when we came across a photographer/paparazzi/stalker in Times Square who kept taking our pictures and did not give us a reason why he was taking the pictures or where they will be posted. Oh...did I mention that he seemed to be in love with my friend--- hilarious, I must say!

My weekend was definitely fun. Now, I am looking forward to my trip this week. Like I mentioned in previous post, I have planned a surprise for my hubby whose birthday is on Sunday. He knows of a travel plan but has NO idea where we are going. My only hint is...it is part of the Great Antilles.  :)

Connect the dots

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter weekend. I am physically back from my brief visit to Toronto, but not so much mentally--LOL!

I had a nice time spending time with family and celebrating Maya's first birthday.

On another note, the weather seems to be finally coming around. I wonder if today's weather signals the official beginning of warm weather. Sometimes, I wonder how I was able to tolerate/survive leaving in Minnesota...hmmm!

Polka Dotty...

I wore this to a friend's pre-wedding cocktail/party. I didn't take much pictures that night because I was beyond tired and of course my "wonderful" camera was acting up. I need a new camera.

Joy Ride Around Town

It feels like late spring/early summer with temperatures in the 70s.

Then, all of a sudden you wake up the next day to a windy and cold day--SO WEIRD!


On another note, tomorrow at work, we are having a "Costume Luncheon," but I don't even have a costume. My friend/co-worker Tracey and I suggested I should dress like a rock star based on what is in my closet.


Well, since I don't have any costume, I will be wearing a "work friendly", "stylish" "rocker"--what this means is that I will probably be wearing one of my favorite color black ;)

Most important, it is going to be a fun day with lots of food. PS: I love food ;-)
